Karen McDonald has defined her career by fighting for Oakland County families and kids.

Her last four years as Oakland County Prosecutor have been no different. She’s put politics aside to focus on common-sense criminal justice reform, leading with integrity, and putting dangerous criminals behind bars to keep Oakland County safe.

“It’s just not enough anymore to charge the highest charge, seek a conviction, ask for the harshest sentence, but not ask the question of what happens to this individual and the community they come from afterwards?”
